Who operates this service

Nookrivet is operated by Buzz Does Tech LLC. Privacy inquiries and requests: buzz.does.tech@gmail.com.

Information used

Nookrivet processes account details and authentication information; maker applications, profiles, specialties, portfolios and submitted links; buyer requests, budgets and reference photos; quotes, private direct messages, messaging display names and contact links, project messages, photos and progress updates; tutorials and their video links; and Show interest form submissions and update preferences.

Membership records include payment-provider identifiers, plan, subscription status and billing-period information. Stripe processes payment details through its checkout and billing portal. The Nookrivet membership database does not store full card numbers or card security codes.

The owner SMS program also records the owner's mobile number, consent history and delivery information. Its separate SMS privacy notice describes those records and controls.

Why it is used

We use information to authenticate accounts, verify application email addresses, review applications and submissions, publish storefronts and tutorials, match project requests with makers, support communication, administer memberships, respond to inquiries, operate requested notifications, and investigate errors, abuse or security issues. A verified maker application or an interest submission can trigger an operational notification to the site owner.

Visibility

Published, approved storefront content and approved tutorials are available to site visitors. Affiliate, product and social links you publish are public.

Buyer requests are available to their buyer, the site owner and eligible approved makers under the request's visibility rules. A request aimed at one maker is restricted accordingly. Quotes are available to their buyer, quoting maker and site owner. Project workspaces are intended for the participating buyer, maker and site owner. Do not put sensitive information in material intended for publication.

Providers and external services

The site uses hosting infrastructure, Supabase for authentication, databases and uploaded files, Stripe for membership payments and billing, Twilio for owner SMS delivery, and Resend for transactional application emails and email verification. These providers process information required for their services. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs.

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Tutorial videos may load from YouTube or Vimeo. External fonts, video players and linked websites can receive technical information from your browser and operate under their own privacy practices. Affiliate and other external links take you to services Nookrivet does not operate.

Browser storage

Authentication uses browser storage to maintain your signed-in session. Browser controls can clear stored data; doing so may sign you out. This notice does not describe future advertising or tracking tools that have not been implemented.

Retention and requests

We keep information while needed to provide the service and address support, security, billing and recordkeeping needs. Retention can differ by record type; account deletion may not immediately remove backups or records required for billing or legal obligations. We do not promise a fixed deletion deadline here.

You can edit supported profile fields through your account. For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, email buzz.does.tech@gmail.com. We may verify account ownership before responding. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate requests. SMS consent can be withdrawn through SMS settings or supported opt-out replies.

Updates

We will update the published notice when service practices change and display its effective date. We will communicate significant changes to affected users as appropriate.

Project support reports

Reports, requested resolutions and owner responses are visible to both project participants and the Nookrivet owner. When a report is submitted, the owner can review the project agreement and conversation to investigate and help resolve the issue. Avoid including sensitive personal or payment information.

Private direct messages

Direct messages are shared with the two participants. We store conversation contents, timestamps, read status, and blocking preferences to operate your inbox. Your message link lets other signed-in members contact you without displaying your email. Authorized backend services process message data to provide the service. Contact us about account or message data requests.
